SMT Data opens office in Benelux

Today SMT Data A/S announced that SMT Data Benelux BV has been founded and has started sales and consultancy activities throughout the Benelux market.

The SMT Data Benelux team currently consists of 5 experienced persons, led by Mr. Hans Middelburg. Mr. Middelburg last held the position of CEO at RES Software and has extensive experience in general management positions in leading IT companies such as BMC Software, Experian, StorageTek and Xerox. Furthermore, the team consists of Jean-Pierre van Tiggelen, Dennis Goudbeek, Andreas Drenthen and Dennis van Soest.

The team as a whole brings a wealth of experience from the IT Industry and an extensive network in the Benelux market. This professionally skilled team is a valuable asset to SMT Data to establish and serve new customers in the Benelux market, according to Jan Vilstrup, CEO of SMT Data A/S.

Jan Vilstrup expects that SMT Data, by bringing in the Benelux team for SMT Data’s activities in the Benelux, will be able to build a solid customer base. The Benelux market is the 5th IT market in Europe and represents some of the leading companies in Europe. The IT Business Intelligence solution from SMT Data will, according to Hans Middelburg, be important for managing the relationship between the IT and the business for all the large Benelux companies.
