SMT Data offers continuous support to the customer’s IT management for making informed decisions regarding IT cost reductions – as well as in justifying and communicating such decisions across the organisation.

To perform this service, SMT consultants initiate an iterative process where relevant SMT tools are periodically adjusted to maintain full visualisation of the links between developments in business activity and IT capacity.

Periodic capacity studies identify the ongoing impact of the individual business units on the IT capacity (and thus the total operations budget), so that an actual evaluation of service versus costs can be carried out.

Each iteration is completed with a management presentation of history, status, trends and recommendations (including sparring and follow-up as required).
